We absolutely loved our stay at Oak Cottage in Sheffield! The location was fantastic, and the cottage itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. It was perfect for us and our dog, who had a great time exploring the area. The layout of the cottage was lovely, and it was equipped with everything we needed. We were also pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the double bed was - one of the best we've ever had! We did have a few minor observations, such as the need for an outside light at the rear and a screen for added privacy between the properties. Additionally, a bread knife and fish slice in the kitchen would have been useful. The mattress was a bit dipped on both sides, which made it a bit uncomfortable. But overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Oak Cottage.

Pros of my stay at Oak Cottage? Mind-blowing location, jaw-dropping decor, and squeaky clean presentation! Such a super place, especially for my dog. The deal I got out of season was absolutely fantastic. Trust me, this place is the bomb! The layout was so lovely, and the cottage was equipped with everything I needed. And oh my, the double bed! It was incredibly comfortable, definitely one of the best we've ever slept on. I also loved that they had free wi-fi and parking, and even an electric kettle for that much-needed cup of tea. Plus, the cycling routes nearby were a bonus! And let's not forget, pets were allowed, which is amazing. Oh, and did I mention there's no smoking on site? Highly recommend this place for an unforgettable stay!

Loved parking my car in the garden; made me feel like a VIP. And the washing machine was a real treat; I saved a fortune on laundry. Bishop's House being 15 km away was a great feature; I love a good hike after a comfy bed.

Oh, how I missed that bread knife; slicing bread in creative ways really spices things up.

The room at Oak Cottage was cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. I loved the warm and rustic vibe it had - perfect for a solo traveler like myself who enjoys a peaceful and homely ambiance.

The only downside for me was that there was only one bathroom with a bath or shower. But hey, that's just my personal preference, others might not mind at all!

It made me feel like I was staying in a cozy and elegant home away from home. The hotel's general areas were also well-maintained and spotlessly clean, which I truly appreciated. As a senior woman, I found the accessibility of the hotel to be exceptional. There were no steep stairs or long hallways to navigate, making it easy for me to get around comfortably.

I would have loved it if there had been a grab bar in the shower for added safety. The children working there were incredibly helpful, but this small addition would have made my stay even better.
